Very good service from Dave and the team at Canterbury Mr Clutch. I took my Vitara in which was in dire need of a clutch after getting an online quotation. Dave's mechanic worked tirelessly to get the clutch done for me by 5PM and Dave phoned me to inform me the car needed gearbox oil and then again when it was finished. I tend to find that major chains are somewhat lacking in customer service but Canterbury Mr Clutch gives you a high level of personal customer service with the backup of a large chain. I'd strongly recommend this garage to anyone needing a clutch or car repairs.
Clutch repair i had my car booked in for a clutch replacement. After an inspection, I was informed that it was only the Master Cylinder that needed replacing and cost only half of the initial quote (which was cheap anyway). Work was completed within 3 hours. I'm sure some other garages would have just done the whole clutch. A big thanks to all the team in Canterbury and David at the booking centre. I would definitely recommend.
Got my car here for a full service £149 pounds was very good for what they did my car runs nice and smooth again! And even gave advice on what needs replacement
Brilliant service from Dave and the team. Fair price and quick turnaround. Thankyou
I'm not really car savvy, I don't know the ins and outs overly too well when it comes to cars but reading the reviews of this company, I thought I would be in safe hands. I've had a service and a MOT at this branch in Canterbury. The service was quite a hefty bill, I regret not getting a second opinion on this before paying. The first time round the MOT failed. They said I needed a new catalytic converter as the exhaust emissions test failed. They wanted to charge me £650 to get this replaced and sorted. Before proceeding I went to seek out another opinion. I went and got a catalytic converter from another place, and it was agreed that they were happy to fit this and I just pay the labour. So, I took the car back for them to fit it and for a mot retest. Turns out though that I didn't need a new one in the end, it just needed cleaning? So now here I am thinking, why couldn't they have done that before? And how did the bill originally be £650 when I managed to get the part itself for £180. It's not a place I recommend unless you know what you are doing, I feel like I've been taken advantage of. On the first MOT they also put that my front sub-frame corroded and it is seriously weakened as a major defect, but when I collected the car, they reassured me this was just an advisory and that they would change this. They have left me feeling a bit confused on this matter however, as now on the MOT retest that problem disappeared entirely. Was it ever a problem to begin with? Am I going to be tootling down the road and suddenly my car fall to pieces?! But I've been reassured that it is fine.
